KEEP CALM AND COOK

Develop creative and adaptable cooks with our new Keep Calm and Cook resources for young people aged 11-14.

This ‘flexi-delivery’ one or two lesson programme is specifically developed to help you meet your Key Stage 3 Food and Nutrition curriculum goals!

Throughout the programme, students will learn how to:

  • Create three tasty savoury dishes while minimising waste and expense.
  • Remain calm when circumstances change.
  • Adapt recipes to suit their own dietary needs and the needs of others, including the concepts of cultural, religious and lifestyle choices.
  • Recall the principles of the Eatwell Guide to ensure they maintain a healthy, balanced diet.
  • Reduce food waste in their every-day cooking.

Students will be left equipped with well-designed recipe cards for three delicious, savoury meals that are healthy, balanced and affordable.
